We took Nathaniel to the polls today. He won't be eligible to vote until 2022, but it's never too early to educate the young.
The nice voting sticker lady gave him a voting sticker which would have
triggered election lawyer apoplexy if this were a swing state. The top
part of the sticker read "I Voted" while the bottom read
"Electronically!" (Hint: He didn't really vote, honest.)
My husband and I ripped off the bottom part of the sticker so that
Nathaniel's voting sticker only said "I voted." Granted, he
didn't vote either way, but that's no reason to endorse Diebold and
company.

if you chose a paper ballot in Mountain View, not only did you get to vote in the fully-biodegradable folded cardboard kiosk, but you got a sticker that simply said "i voted". fat lot of good it did, given how not even the CA elections turned out like i would have hoped, but it felt good at the time. --Rob*
At least you could feel good about the biodegradable vote containment unit!
