Overheard in the halllways today.
Stressbunny, clearly upset: I dreamt that my boyfriend cheated on me last night!
Sympathetic Friend: Oh, that's awful!
Stressbunny: Yeah, it was with my sister.
Sympathetic Friend, clucking sympathetically: Even worse!
Stressbunny: So I got in a huge fight with him this morning.
Sympathetic Friend, cautiously but a little dubiously: Because he cheated on you in your dream?
Stressbunny: Yeah.
Sympathetic Friend: Maybe you shouldn't call your sister today.

Hah! Hah! Hah!
I dream all the time that my hubby's messing around with my sister. It's weird. It would never happen in real life. So why do I dream about it, Herr Transmogriflaw?
Snort.
Can you imagine fighting over it, though? Poor boyfriend!
That having been said, I have to admit I've woken up a wee bit sulky a few mornings because of something my poor hubby did in my dreams. I was rational enough not to get in a fight with him about it, but he was probably glad when I went off to work nonetheless on those mornings. :)
I once woke up from a similar dream and punched my then-boyfriend in the nose. (It wasn't that hard, he didn't even wake up.) But it wasn't until AFTER I'd punched him that I realized what I was doing!
Dreams are powerful. But no, I can't imagine getting into a full-blown fight about them. Poor guy, indeed.
You *punched* him?? *laugh* That is the funniest thing I have read all week!
Props to your brave hubby, braving both leg troubles and bad dreams. ;-)
