Apparently we are not to joke about serious subjects like the existence of a curve in law school. It is Not Funny. It might indicate a Bad Environment.

Michael, I can't believe me (who is constantly mistaken for a male) got that wrong! Alas.
I think anyone not intimately familiar with the Silmarillion or the Lord of the Rings might reasonably infer that "Glorfindel" was a she. The only moral condemnation you'll ever get from me is not having read Tolkien at least eight times! ;)

I wasn't saying you shouldn't joke! I was actually thinking, wistfully, that joking would be better than Not Saying Anything at all.

Congradulations on being one of the top five. You got a nice journal! We homeschool and I have two kids one 23 who graduated from Homeschooling & is teaching at a private school & one 16 who has her permit now. Both care for the elderly & love kids and animals.
