what to do

My obstetrics clinic gave me a helpful tip sheet with suggestions on what to do when early labor commences.

Among the other, very reasonable suggestions, I saw the following:

"Do not insert a tampon."

I must say, that's not something that had ever occurred to me. I want to know who the woman is who thought, "Heck, I'm going into labor. Let's plug that space up right now."

LOL...it's hard to imagine, huh?  On a related subject, I saw Jeff Foxworthy on David Letterman a couple nights ago talking about how he and his wife had been told "Do not have sex after the water breaks."

Good grief.  Fortunately, they don't make 10 cm tampons!

I love the comment about 'Don't have sex after your water breaks!'  Yeah, I'm sure that's what people are thinking about at that point!

But if they have to issue the warning....
